Arizona Highlands

Arizona Highlands is a Kaufman and Broad community consisting of 110 lovely homes surrounded, for the most part, by a natural wash area with meandering walking trails. It’s also located just steps away (literally!) from the McDowell Mountain Ranch Community Center with its heated pool and spa, tennis and basketball courts and children’s play area.

When it was initially made available to the public in 1996, there were six different models to choose from ranging in size from 1,846 square feet to over 2,700 square feet. Four of the plans were single-level and two were multi level. In addition, each model was offered in three different exterior elevations and had a number of customizable exterior options which gave the community a more varied look. Although all of the homes had a standard three car garage, most had the option of converting one of the garages into a bonus room.

About the Builder

The Kaufman and Broad Building Company began in Detroit in 1957 and, in its first year built 136 homes with an average price of approximately $12,500.
